Dr. Janice Wilson, our Chief of Staff, grew up in Texas. She earned two bachelor of science degrees and her veterinary degree from Texas A&M university – all with honors. After graduation, Dr. Wilson was offered an internship at the University of Pennsylvania’s Ryan Veterinary Hospital. This gave her an additional year of training with specialists and the opportunity to teach students.
Dr. Wilson decided to stay in Pennsylvania after her internship. She went on to practice at Gywnedd Veterinary Hospital from 1999-2003, the Center for Animal Referral and Emergency Services (CARES) from 2003-2010, here at Indian Valley Animal Hospital from 2010-2012, and the Family Pet Clinic from 2012-2016. She has been back at Indian Valley Animal Hospital since 2016.
Outside of work, Dr. Wilson enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, two dogs, cat, and guinea pig. She also enjoys fitness, painting, cross stitching, and being outdoors. Although she has a special place in her heart for cats, she treats every pet as if they were her own.
