History of IVAH
|Dr. Hufnagle receives award for 25 years of AAHA accreditation.|
Indian Valley Animal Hospital opened its doors on April 1978 as the first full time service veterinary hospital to serve to the citizens of Souderton. At that time, Dr. H. Scott Hufnagle worked with one part-time assistant at the hospital, which was then located at 28 Adams Avenue.
As a result of the overwhelming response by area pet owners, Indian Valley Animal Hospital moved to its current state-of-the art facility in August 1998.
As the hospital grew, so did our family. Today IVAH has grown to include two full-time veterinarians and a caring staff of over 10 employees, including several certified veterinary technicians.
Our Mission is...
- To provide for our patient's well-being in as caring and compassionate manner as we would our own
- To educate ourselves and our clients so that together we can make informed decisions concerning the pet's care
- To treat all patients, clients, and teammates with respect and dignity
- To provide the highest quality of veterinary care at an honest cost in a friendly, relaxed setting
